Kevin N. Poythress brings over 30 years of construction experience and a solid background in civil and structural engineering to every Poythress Construction Company project. He realizes that buying a new home is one’s most important investment – one that keeps his customer’s perspective in the forefront of every design and construction task.

Kevin is a Triangle North Carolina native and a graduate of North Carolina State University with an undergraduate degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in structural engineering. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of North Carolina. Kevin has combined experience in both the residential and commercial markets.

He has been building residential custom and spec homes for more than 25 years, completing about 20 homes annually. Poythress Construction Company neighborhoods include many of the leading Triangle developments: 12 Oaks, Sunset Bluffs, Sunset Grove, Seaforth Landing and coming soon, Montvale.
